  • Entertaining tales from the stamp trade

Stephen Datz is a great story teller and this book will be delightful quick read for those of you who really enjoy stamp collecting. It is a selection of humorous anecdotes from Datz’s 30 years in the stamp business. Don’t expect a lot of practical how-to-collect information. This is book has more to do with the wacky side of some people who collect stamps than it does with the nuances of stamp collecting. It is short (161 pages), but enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone who loves stamp collecting... Those of you who don't collect stamps probably won't get it, but you probably won't understand my delight at finding a used PNC #6 of Scott #1891 in a mission mix either!
