    Typical Yamaha price point quality

    Excellent for small full range speakers. This amp can contour the speaker output for music at medium levels. For large audio speakers, the mids are a bit pronounced and the bass a little shy. Contouring for flat response leaves for a slight hollowness to the sound. FM tuner sound is a bit thin with a short straight wire antenna. A little bass boost makes it good at background levels. I have not tried other antennas.
