    If you couldn't afford to see Nirvana live, then this might be your chance.

    NIRVANA-LIVE! TONIGHT! SOLD OUT! is not a conventional concert film by any chance of expectations. Released the same year following Kurt Cobain's untimely death, filmmaker Kevin Kerslake creates a direct, if compelling documentary about the band's wild touring antics. Assembled from concert performances and television interviews, the film is more like a personal odyessy of the Seattle trio than a peep show of simple '90s nostalgia. And that statement seems good enough for most passionate music fans. My favorite part is when Kurt performed "Smells Like Teen Spirit" in a morbid Pat Boonish-baritone on TOP OF THE TOPS. That moment alone is the reason for seeing NIRVANA-LIVE! TONIGHT! SOLD OUT! FINAL VERDICT: A perfect addition for Nirvana fans, but the ...
