I did receive a refund from the seller—this misunderstanding is not their fault. It was the US post office. I received a letter from them a week or so after I received the item to bring the broken item in. I had already thrown out the lid not knowing that anyone want to see it in person. I had pictures of the lid and brought the broken teapot to inspect. They did look at it and said they would fill out the report for reimbursement. They did not take the broken teapot but could have. Sorry.

I refunded this buyer right away and said I would file a claim on my end. Because I didn't have the packing and broken item, they would not give me a refund on my sold item. I ended up taking a loss. I am not sure why they said they did not receive a refund since it was given to them right away. USPS was dealing with me, not them
