    This book is a wealth of knowledge whether you are a knitting newbie or a seasoned crafter. It shows you the very basics of knitting, tools needed to do all that the craft entails and has patterns with basic instructions so even the novice can understand and excellent explanations on the most intricate of stitches. I have used this book many times and always found the information I wanted. This book is worth every cent paid for it. With all the books in my collection this is my "go to book."

(Can't tell I was impressed by it :o) Can ya?!) It is an inexpensive resource that will never outdate itself. It makes a great gift too!
