    The pages fly by

    The start of Gabriel Allon. First in the series. Good plot. Well written characters. It is not necessary that you read the Gabriel Allon series in order. I read 15 others in the series before I got around to reading the first. Still a great read. The pages fly by.

    It is not the condition I expected.

    I am enjoying the literature. Well written and good background information. I was dismayed,however, to receive a surplused library book. I do think that is useful information . Maybe I just missed it , but the condition is not the "nearly new" that I usually get. If I wanted a well used library book I would check one out for free.

    The Kill Artist by Daniel Silva (2001, Hardcover)

    After reading several others in the Gabriel Allon series, I had to go back and get this one, the first one? Great read! We discover all about the history of Gabriel and why he is who he is; we learn how he became the Kill Artist and other foundation information. Written in Daniel Silva's unique style, this story draws you in and keeps your reading - until ages later when you just HAVE to get to sleep for work tomorrow. I recommend it to everyone who like the Allon series.
