    Footfall - One of the best Earth Invasion Novels Ever

    Set in the late 1900's the book deals with an alien invasion of the Earth. When the aliens are first spotted in the solar system, no one understands what or who they are. Then years later scientists discover their ship moving towards earth and deduce it must be from another world. Most of the world is expecting great things from these new arrivals in our solar system, however as they ship gets closer with no answer to their welcome messages, the leaders begin to worry. Suddenly the first shots are fired toward earth and all hell breaks loose, earth is under attack and being invaded. What follows is an account of the lives of those who understand what is happening and what to do about it as the ultimate battle for the survival of man kind takes place.     Unique Perspective

    As someone who reads a lot of science fiction, I was very impressed with how different this novel was from other "alien invasion" type stories. The authors did an excellent job on getting inside the minds of a truly alien species. Highly recommend.
