The first of Atlus' demon-themed Shin Megami Tensei games to come to the DS in North America, Devil Survivor puts players in the role of a nameless high-school sophomore who becomes trapped in Tokyo after the entire city is locked down by the government. Called to the city to meet his cousin Naoya, the player character and his two friends instead find only a mysterious handheld game known as a "COMP" that can be used to contact and employ demons.<br>The official government story is that a dangerous gas has begun seeping from the ground, but those inside the barricaded city know that the real danger comes from a massive demon outbreak, and that there are only seven days left before all of Tokyo will be destroyed. Gamers will come into contact with a variety of characters, along the way learning to use the COMP to summon demons and make difficult decisions that may result in the loss of innocent lives, all in an effort to save Tokyo and find out exactly what happened to Naoya.

Compelling characters, an awesome premise and possibly the best representation of the different alignments. Quite possibly one of the best games Atlus have ever made.

love those demons

Everything was just fine. If anything, making the item description a little more clear would be better. After reading through the item description I was expecting at least the game and instruction manual. I received only the game, and had to return and reread the item description more carefully for this to be clear. One of the Best Nintendo DS games
Devil Survivor is a great game, with both great story and gameplay. You can use demons to defend you, battle with them and fuse to create new demons. At the very beginning you'll be trapped in tokyo after the lockdown, due to the massive presence of demons. With your COMPs you'll have the control over your demons and informations about the events that will occour day after day.
