Made of high grade stainless steel with a gunmetal gray ion-plated finish, it features legendary Precisionist quartz accuracy, which is accurate to within seconds a year. The 98B229 also features a durable, scratch resistant round mineral window, screw back case and screw down crown, a black multi-level carbon fiber dial with luminous hands and a bold blue hand that ticks off seconds. A date window appears between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. The 24mm band features a double-press fold-over clasp with safety lock to keep it safely and securely fastened to your wrist. The watch is water resistant up to 300 meters (984 feet), making it dive ready and durable enough for all your adventures.

Very nice looking / working watch for the money.
Only thing I had to do was to go to "bulova.com" and down load it's Owners / Operators manual so I could reset the main second hand to the 12 o'clock position (very easy if you know how). Other wise this is a very nice watch which keeps very good time. The only thing I can see is a very slight wear mark on the clasp, other wise it looks NEW.. I may have to remove one link from the band as it's a little loose but I can do this.Only thing I had to do was to go to "bulova.com" and down load it's Owners / Operators manual so I could reset the main second hand to the 12 o'clock position (very easy if you know how). Nice watch
My band keeps coming unsnapped , and no it's not to tight. I have also found that the hands of the watch kind of blend into the watch. Reading the watch can be difficult at times. I do like how it look. I do not quit understand why a store that sells the watch will not service ,if it did not come from that store. Not much support. I was not going to say anything, but you asked. I will say it is a beautiful, love the gun metal gray,size just right. I would buy another one if the right one comes along. Bulova Precisionist 98B229 - Gunmetal Gray
I love the Bulova Precisionist line of watches. I’d have them all if I could. The biggest negative review I read from people is the size of the watch...case diameter close to 47 mm, with a case thickness of almost 18 mm. It’s definitely bigger than most, but once on your wrist it doesn’t appear that way. I’m 6’2”, 215 lbs with a wrist slightly larger than 7.25” and I think it looks great on. I typically don’t go over 44 mm but once I saw the Precisionist 98B228 and 98B229, I had to have both. I do not regret the purchase in the least. I love the Bulova Precisionist line of watches. A very accurate, good looking, heavy watch.
This is a very impressive looking watch. It also seems to keep extremely accurate time. It is, however, quite heavy. Also, the hands for the hours and minutes do not jump out at you when you first look at the watch. That having been said, I am completely satisfied with the watch, and I enjoy wearing it.
