    Unfortunately, the item arrived damaged. Karl accepted the return of the damaged item and offered a "repair and resend" or a full refund. Shipping was at cost and not inflated, which I appreciated. It's impossible to say if more packaging around the item would have prevented the damage, as the box (which was quite heavy-duty) had also taken a beating. We had to "eat" the cost of the returning shipping, which means this whole experience cost us $50, which is unfortunate.
