I sent them an email on Christmas Eve after 6:00 pm and they responded that evening with the solution. Turns out you have to hold the power button down for 3 seconds and then it turns on. So I have been using the device methodically for almost 3 months. I have to say that it is doing something. I am getting some tiny hairs where I have not had hair in a long time.
