    Very nice

    These are great bbq thermometers for the price. Seem to be accurate on temperature comparing it with others, the range is good to start with. I’m on my second one of these thermometers after about 7+ bbq seasons. My first one still works but the range between units is horrible it will loose connection at less than 30 feet, the first 3 or so years it was great easily 300 feet but over time it got less and less to where now it’s almost useless. My last bbq session it lost connection several times and wasn’t more than 15 feet from the main unit. But as I said for the price it’s great and it has lasted a descent amount of time considering the unit will sit out in the direct sunlight baking for hours and keep working for years. I can’t see the more expensive thermoworks brand ones lasting much ...

    Looks good, doesnt last

    Looks good, easy functionality. But then on the 3rd use and the meat probe started malfunctioning and makes the whole unit pointless other than the BBQ temp monitoring still functions. Dont recommend this unit

    Accurate, large readout, easy to use. The only reason i didn't give it five stars was the length of the probes. They do however have a selection of longer probes for fairly reasonable prices.

    Now on number three

    I use this item for timing and temperature control of my smoker. Unfortunately they don't seem to last very long. I must say however that the distance between transmitter and receiver is extremely good as I am able to move around an acre of property and it maintains the signal. Usually it is the probe that fails but the unit failed on the last two, due to heat probably. This latest unit has some changes to the probe inputs so that may prove to increase durability.
