      Bose has taken a lot of flack in recent years for many of the same reasons Apple has. Many professionals argue that Bose and Apple products are too simple and are overpriced based on performance of products in similar price ranges. What Bose (and Apple) offer isn't the best spec sheet or best value, they offer a well built product that is very durable and simple to use. It just works! It has a simple volume knob that doubles as an on off switch. Setup is simple too! The speakers have a balanced sound that is good for lots of music. They are also heavy and feel very durable. Sure, similar speakers may have some features that are better than these Bose speakers, but overall, these speakers are rugged, easy to use, handsome, and sound good.       Great Deal on a Great Used Pair of Bose Companion 2 Speakers

      I've used these speakers for years. Got a great deal on this pair for use in my office at work. Love the depth of sound for two "desktop" speakers. Find a pair on eBay, make sure it comes with all the cables (like the pair I bought did), and make the buy!

      Together again

      I purchased these same speakers a few years ago and sold them because I replaced them with the Bose computer speakers with subwoofer which has a richer sound. Since I am downsizing I decided to return to these speakers which take up less real estate on my desktop. They were received in pristine condition and they sound fine.

      Good Buy

      I wanted a pair of Bose speakers for my desktop and I am pleased with my purchase. I matched this pair up with a subwoofer (because I have music that demands serious bass capacities). The Companion 2’s do very well in the high range and well in most midrange, which is great for rock and most Jazz, but if you need the “Monster Bass”, I suggest a subwoofer accompaniment. I like the my Bose.
