Proper genuine ones
These are indeed genuine IBM TrackPoint caps. Price is high for what they are, but I'd call it reasonable since they're out of production and not that easy to come by. The "soft rim" caps are perfect for any ThinkPad with a classic keyboard, up to around T420. With T430 and its new island style keyboard, these do work but they stick up about 1 mm higher than the stock "soft dome" ones it comes with. This makes it slightly unnatural feeling, and it sticks up higher than the spacebar and will likely make a little circle of finger oil on your screen if you carry your ThinkPad in a bag. The generic "soft rim" caps found in other cheaper listings are a better match for T430 through whenever they moved to the low profile ones. (Note, both these and the generics have a 3x3 mm hole; low profile ... These are indeed genuine IBM TrackPoint caps. The generic ones are 1 mm shorter and I find them more comfortable on my T440p. It also takes more pressure on the lid before it marks the screen. The generics are however noticeably lower quality rubber and molding but do work well enough. This pack also comes with original "classic dome" / "cat tongue" caps like the earliest ThinkPads had. These fit both classic and (non low profile) island keyboards perfectly, though the "soft rim" type is generally agreed to be more comfortable. This style isn't really to my liking but I'm sure someone will be thrilled to find these, especially since the cat tongue like grippy texture is difficult for off-brands to reproduce.
