        Burt Landcaster's most fogettable movie.

        This, in my opinion, is the worst movie that Burt Lancaster EVER made. I will never view it again. The plot is pure nonsense, the main character turns out to be a stereotypical Male Pig. I am offended by his actions with the females he interacts with in this movie. No, I am not easily offended by movies. I am an older male with tolerance for a lot of views that I myself do not hold. The ending of the movie is unusual. It does not explain situation created by the prior scenes. It leaves it up to the viewer to figure it out. Some viewers will enjoy this technique. I do not. On a positive note, the characters are well-acted and well written, for the most part. Overall, the movie was not to my taste.

        Lancaster’s Great in this!

        It is an unusual movie. Engrossing and great acting by Lancaster. You really don’t know where the movie is heading until nearly the end which is its best aspect.The only draw back is that it is a period piece of the rich middle class of the 60’s and the settings and people seem a bit dated.
