Great puppet!
Nice size, about 6 inches long and or so wide. The glove is quite small but it could rather easily be cut off leaving some fabric to sew onto a bigger glove. Glove fits large child hand. My fingers go in as the glove is stretchy but only half my palm is covered. My hands are fairly small, about 6 1/2 inches long. The glove is about 4 1/2 inches long. One nice feature is that it has 2 thumbs so you can wear it on either hand. Anyway, very cute puppet and clever!Nice size, about 6 inches long and or so wide. A beautiful, fun little bee! He has terrific etched wings, and a perfectly proportioned furry body that sits atop a small black glove, just the size for a youngster's hand. Mine will fit into it, too, though it fits a little short, but I've been playing with it all evening, in anticipation of delivering it to my 2 year- old grandson tomorrow. He's going to love it! I especially love his shiny black eyes. And his little stitched mouth looks like it could say something! He honestly looks so realistic - so much more than other brands of furry puppets. I couldn't be more pleased and recommend him to any honey-bee puppet lover! My neighbor raises honey bees, and I plan to order another of these for her son. Just what I needed
I purchased this item to use at a 2 day Conservation Camp for 1-4 graders. I discuss pollinators with a focus on honey bees, since I have my own apiary. This was my 3rd year and I needed to change it up for those who have attended many years in a row. So, this puppet was part of the change. I used it to buzz around students as a visual of the bees going around flowers then used it discussed bees passing nectar from one another. The students were mesmerized and kept their attention/eyes on the puppet. Their smiles let me know it was a hit. Very glad I purchased it. The glove is for a child's hand, but I only put my fingers in the glove to wiggle the legs.
