    This product is solid. It is well designed with a bunch of useful ports. Setup was easy and the machine runs fast. Although I am not a fan of Mac OS I still believe it is a strong operating system!

    This Mac Mini is defective. I've spent hours with Apple tech support because it can't deal with external drives, it spits them out and remounts them every minute or so, and just trying using Migration Assistant was impossible

    Mac Mini 2018 - Great Computer in Small Package

    I've been a fan of the Mac Mini for years. I've had a G4, a core Duo, a "Late 2012" and now this 2018 i5. For general purpose computing, it offers a lot of capability in a small package. It is also very power efficient, so you can leave it running without using up a huge amount of electricity. Since there's no monitor attached, you don't have to throw away a perfectly good monitor when you decide to upgrade your computer. The 2018 model offers a predictable performance boost over the 2012 model. It is not an extreme gaming machine. The graphics are adequate for videos, zoom meetings, and photo editing, but you won't be able to brag about your frame rates to your gamer friends. This package came with Mac OS 11 "Big Sur" installed. Big Sur runs fine, but unlike the new M1 Macs, this ...

    great features to price ratio

    When I was able to figure out my upgrade options and the go arounds to get it set how I want it, this computer and all of its power are treating me fantastic. havent finished the upgrades yet. planning on maxing out the ram at 64GB and possibly faster nvme ssd and maybe even an EGPU.
