    I wanted a super-capacitor for my X10DRH...

    I wanted a super-capacitor for my X10DRH-CT Supermicro motherboard. In addition, this style provides a place to hold the super-capacitor, vs just dangling in the case :) Works well, enabled the board to use it's 2gb SAS cache with write-back mode, which dramatically sped up writes (my 4x15k SAS hdd array jumped from about 150mb/s write speeds in write-through mode to 500mb/s sustained in write-back). Cool tech, super-capacitors!
