    Unreliable on Wifi, Not Recommended

    I was not impressed with this product. It was easy enough to set up, but is unreliable on Wifi once connected. Signal strength not an issue. There may be a firmware update to this product that would fix this issue however none of my 20+ other devices have any issues with my Wifi. It stays connected for about a week at a time. Until this changes I cannot recommend this product.

    Disappointing

    The device works, but it’s a bit cumbersome to configure. The real problem is that the app is poorly designed and the data it provides is very basic. It basically replicates the alerts that happen on the unit. It would be great if it could show when the pump is activating, if the reset button on the unit could be activated remote, and detailed problem information could be relayed through it.

    Useful Addition to Backup sump pump

    While this is a good product to have with your backup sump pump it is very tricky setting it up especially when it comes to connectivity even when you have a very strong wiFi network.

    Always nice to have Peace of mind.

    It took a long time to receive the e-mail invitation that allows you to use the Smart Phone app but once I received it I am happy with how I can monitor the performance of the sump system. With the Primary Pump, Secondary pump with battery backup and now this WiFi module I am now able to not only know that the system is running properly but if the Primary and secondary pump fails I added a Float switch to this module to enable a High water warning. Even it the first 2 stages fail I know I still have time to remedy the issue as long as the High water float has not triggered.
