    Good stereo

    Bought this for my home theater setup. The sound quality is very good but it lacks in the mid range and sub arena for a booming theater experience. I ended up buying a Polk 10" powered sub and let it run into the 100mhz cross frequency to help boost the mids a bit. Now it is a great 5.1 surround sound system! I used the onkyo sub on my other little stereo for some more bass and sounds great!

    Worth the money

    I bought this as a replacement for a prior Onkyo home entertainment system. It is what I expected, not really any super up grades after about seven years. My old one, the wire went bad, had a hard time getting it to turn on and stay on. For the money, can't beat this item though, I use it for records and movies.

    Good Inexpensive Surround System

    Nice system at its price point. Compact speakers are good for a small room. Easy enough to set up (how you mount the speakers is your fault, not Onkyo's).

    Great sound with great features

    Onkyo home theater equipment is not new to me, before purchasing this unit I currently own HT-S9400THX and HT-S3900, so I'm not new to Onkyo. I've owned the THX system for 9 years now and have never had a problem with it. The HT-S3900 I purchased a year and a half ago and again no problems. For the price you can't beat the sound quality and setup options they have in their systems.
