A Pricey Gamble with No Battery Life
In theory, this is a great product. An instant film camera I can control with an app on my phone? Yes please! I loved the idea of manual exposure, double expsoure, and long exposure. I felt I could live with the short battery life as a trade off for the perks. In reality, however, this camera falls far short of the mark. My camera took a long time to charge, even though it was straight out of the box and still sealed. I spent six + hours reading the directions, waiting to see if the camera would even be capable of accepting a full charge. I got off one shot that was focus-blurry when it was in the supposed focus range, and the rest of the shots that came out of the pack were black, no matter how I shot them. This is my second I-1 Camera, a great value at current pricing vs. when these cameras were first released. Expectations were very high upon the launch of this, the first new camera to use IMPOSSIBLE instant film, I myself was hoping that this would be in the same caliber as the legendary SX-70 Land Cameras, but that was my mistake. The I-1 is a great camera with it's own set of nuances and once you get to know what these are you can make great pictures and enjoy this admirable effort to break new ground by the IMPOSSIBLE Project team.This is my second I-1 Camera, a great value at current pricing vs. when these cameras were first released. Awesome Instant Camera
Is a pretty great camera. Is not as big as I thought it was gonna be. Solid build quality. The image of the prints are what you expect for an instant camera. This would make for a perfect gift and the price is pretty affordable.
