      Panasonic Cordless Phones are a best choice, considering the batterie$, plus endless features.

      Panasonic cordless phones are about the best on the market today, and this has been true for the past several years, in my opinion. What makes Panasonic a premier choice? It is the AAA size rechargeable batteries! These last several years, and are rather inexpensive when compared with most brands of cordless phone batteries which are custom battery packs generally priced in the range of $20 to $30, per phone. A good parallel would be inkjet printer cartridges with low capacity, but these often cost more than the original printer itself. I would be pleased if the Panasonic phone had an audible signal for voice messages, instead of the flashing light on the base set..

      Instructions lacking for set up

      If I didn't still have the original owner's manual for the base unit I wouldn't have been able to set it up to work and would have had to send it back. Fortunately I did and I was able to figure it out. Now works great.

      Good replacement for a lost handset.

      I like this handset very much. It's even nicer than the one it replaced. The sound quality is great and it was easy to set up. I actually ordered another one to replace a much-used handset whose buttons were no longer very responsive. Both handsets are great and saved me the expense of having to buy a whole new set.
