This NES release features special North American box art, which isn't available anywhere else but on this product. You might want to display your Mega Man game facing front so you can admire the painting on the cover.The story in the second of the Mega Man games is just as unique. Rather than simply playing games with the Blue Bomber, Wily has resurrected an army of evil robots to go after him. Light tells him that he needs to go after these new adversaries not seen in other games. He'll face Bubble Man, Quick Man, Air Man, Metal Man, Crash Man, Flash Man, Wood Man, and Heat Man.When you start a new game, you can head to whatever stage in Mega Man 2 you'd like to. Even if you don't have a password, you could still select whichever stage you want. The screen will flash after you press start and will give you an NES stage select menu. The stage select function will ensure you'll have fun with this Capcom game for a long time. If you want to enjoy all the arcade action on stage 2, then you're allowed to select it first. It also means you can pick up a game of Mega Man at any time.You can also head back to the first stage after you've defeated Wily for another shot at him. Perhaps you've been collecting Nintendo cartridges for a long time. On the other hand, Mega Man 2 might be your first game.         Best 8-bit Mega Man game of all time...

        Mega Man 2 on the NES is in fact the best well made game of all time especially with its difficulty option on the menu screen in the American version which I’m reviewing today. You got 8 robot masters and other challenging Dr. Wily fortress levels in mega mans way from getting to the final show down with the evil Dr Wily. The music is memorable, the levels are challenging(Heat Man and Quick Man stages) and not too difficult in some others (Bubble Man, Wood Man stages). You can beat the bosses by using, for example bubble lead on Heat Man to easily gain a victory. All in all, best charming Mega Man game of all time!

        Still Holds Up After 30 Years!

        Mega Man 2 for the NES is one of those classic games from your childhood actually holds up pretty well. The music in this game is absolutely legendary! The game-play is highly addictive and you won't want to put it down until you've beaten the game. I would rank it among the top 5 titles for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

        Classic Mega Man 2 NES

        Mega man 2 is my personal all time favorite NES game hands down. I've owned several copies since it's release, but this copy I'll take to the grave. The mechanics of the game play is great, the graphics are fantastic and the soundtrack is amazing. MM2 forever!!!

        This game is challenging and fun. The levels are difficult & lead up to a boss challenge. After you win, you absorb the special powers the boss uses. Overall it’s a fun game.
