After using this strainer to process a large batch of Boysenberries for making jam, we found its components to be made of high quality cast aluminum, BPA free plastic, and stainless steel, materials. All components exemplify excellent workmanship and provide flawless performance and outstanding seed free (as desired) results. All components are very simple to assemble, but it is very important to read the instruction manual thoroughly for best success.       Needs a update

      I think this products time has passed didn't fit any of my countertops didn't fit any of my tables I had to process on my living room coffee table because the clamping device would not fit anything in my kitchen. Sort of hard to put together and the strainer cone kept popping off made it very difficult to process my Roma tomatoes.. victorio if you see this review please update the clamping device to fit multiple surfaces in the kitchen.       Awesome - wish we had bought this 30 years ago

      Purchased the base unit for making tomato sauce and ordered the additional accessory screens and auger to use with other food processing. So far, so good. Looking forward to trying out all the various options and expect all to function as well as the tomato seed/skin screen did. Initially was pre-cooking tomatoes to soften slightly, which was required with the 'other' food mill. Tried milling the tomatoes 'fresh' and was very satisfied with the outcome - saves time and a rather messy step. Ran the seeds/skins through several times and was surprised at the amount of additional sauce that was salvaged. Great addition to the equipment inventory and will definitely recommend to other food-prepper enthusiasts looking to save time and improve food quality.
