    Works well except for remote

    The unit worked well but the remote only works if you are less than 12 inches from the unit. I programmed a universal remote for the box and it worked well. Seems to be a problem with the unit's original remote. New batteries were installed and still the same issues.

    Does what it claims to do

    I had another one like this and it is simple, straightforward, and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Great for watching over the air broadcast TV on older TVs without a digital tuner. In fact, I like the results of this unit on and analog TV better tha one digital TV we have as the digital blanks the screen if the signal is interrupted and stays that way much longer that simply scrambled picutre I get with this unit on my analog sets.

    Junk and deceptive ad

    Converter box W/Adapter?....I got the converter box, wrapped like a joke. Wrapping after tight and hard to remove wrapping. No adapter was furnished, but I have two others so I used the adapter and the converter would come on for a few seconds and then short out and shut down. Junk...
