    Learning Curve

    My review can't be on the film because I haven't seen it yet. My review is on the "process." I didn't know anything about regions and dvd players. Come to find out, for copywrite laws, the world has been divided up into regions for playing dvd's. The United States is Region 1, the United Kingdom Region 2, and so on. Region 1 dvd's will not play on Region 2 dvd players, etc. And, in my case my dvd, Shirley Valentine, is a Region 2 dvd and will not play on my current player. I queried around and found some multi-region dvd players that I can buy to play my new dvd on. Haven't bought one yet. I also found out that if I was mechanical I could change some settings in my mysterious dvd box and make it able to play Region 2. Research has also revealed that the United States used to have ...

    A lovely entertaining film with beautiful scenery

    I saw this film when it first came out and recently visited Mykonos where it was filmed. I decided to buy it to recall the holiday. I really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and also liked the film very much and will watch it again - something I don't normally do.

    Feel good factor!!

    I love this film for it's feel good factor. Who doesn't want to run away and sit by the shore and drink that glass of wine while watching the sun go down? Having worn out my video I decided to treat myself to a DVD copy. Watched it three times already!!

    Take care sending DVDs

    Arrived on time - but had to open the product as it was a present and there were disturbing noises within the DVD casing. As it happens, the centre had broken and the bits were roaming. Fortunatly they had not damaged the DVD itself.
