The cable looks nice but unfortunately was about a quarter inch too long making it useless.. I guess you get what you pay for. Buy the brand name and save yourself the trouble of having to modify this one.

Doesn't fit theTroy-Bilt Model 12av556o711. It's missing the molded support that attaches to the handle up near the control lever to hold it in place. It works when Ethnic-engineered with using hose clamps to attach it to the handle. I just put the old one back on. I'm tired of messing with it. MTD bought out Troy-bilt. There is a parts callout that isn't corrrect. I took the part number from the schematic in the pdf that references it.Doesn't fit theTroy-Bilt Model 12av556o711. The cable plugged in to the end fittings fine but it is about 1/4" to 1/2" too long. I suggest you buy a different brand.
