It is a router plate so if your skills are advanced it makes an easy install. Took my time used a pattern and a pattern bit in my Dewalt plunge router, I then cut the inside with my Dewalt jigsaw. Fine adjusted the edges with a chisel and set the plate, leveled with supplied set screws. Looked at left over parts and figured out how they were to be used to make minor adjustments for front to back and left to right, making the plate fit tight in the cut out. 4 more screws and a strap required to secure to the table which are not supplied.It is a router plate so if your skills are advanced it makes an easy install. Not only is this router table insert way better than I imagined shipping was insane it got here before it was even registered with the tracking info... Excellent product excellent shipping...... The only negative thing I could say is that it got here too soon before someone could accept it before it got stolen.....lol. Great product great shipping reviewed by an old carpenter...

Gotta Have Router Plate
With several routers and a number of plates you can turn an ordinary saw output table into a production shaper. I have several routers that I have outfitted with these plates. I have routed a hole in a saw output table so now to switch between cutter bits I simply switch routers. Really speeds up production of raised panel doors. And the adjustable inserts makes it better yet!
