Replacement Stihl ignition module for SR 420 mist blower worked OK
This particular model of ignition coil/module is designed to work as a direct replacement of the factory-installed ignition module in a Stihl SR 420 mist blower. As expected, the new module functioned well after installation, allowing the mist blower to again perform its job. It isn't possible to predict how long the ignition module will continue to function satisfactorily - the electronic components and windings are encapsulated under potting compound, and cannot be examined.This particular model of ignition coil/module is designed to work as a direct replacement of the factory-installed ignition module in a Stihl SR 420 mist blower.
