    Zee Truck Tail Gate Assist is the best one

    very helpful, open slowly my tailgate , easy to install, awesome product I read reviews and the Zee Tailgate Assist is the most expensive one, but it's worth it!

    Deezee

    Easy to install, problem is that it likes to rub against the inner wall of the tailgate. Making the tailgate slightly stick. Forcing it to be pulled to start it’s decent. After several uses the sticking was so bad that it pulled loose the lower ball connecting the shock and rendered the entire system useless and I had to remove in order to get my tailgate down. A better design is required to work on my model truck (03 Dodge Ram 1500)

    Tailgate Assist

    This product really does help when opening your tailgate… Before putting this product on, my son opened my tailgate & it slammed down hard. After I put the product on, I told my son to do the same thing. It worked perfectly & tailgate didn’t slam down as before…,, I highly recommend that anyone with a pickup truck to buy this product… 👍🏻

    Dee Zee tailgate assist

    Good instructions to help with the install. Getting the inset tool to set the threads was a bit tricky but after a few tries it set. Looks good and works great!!! Recommended for all.

    Fitment

    So I got this product knowing I could make it work. I have a 1999 dodge ram 2500. The company claimed they dont make this product for this year truck. I took a 25 dollar risk and bought the kit for the 2002 and newer, with very minimal design changes this product fit my truck and works so well.... Install time was approximately 30 min. Seems of good quality!
