Quietly efficient at keeping the cat off my receiver
Of late the cat took to climbing on my receiver to bask in the warm air rising from my receiver. As I had had a very expensive receiver fry because I lodged the turntable atop it like I had since I built my first Heathkit a very long time ago. Plug up the upper vent and bad things happen. From that mishap forward, the receivers have had to stack atop the other stuff - leaving the turntable to fend for itself. All was rather awkwardly placed but safe until a new cat decided napping on the receiver suited her perfectly. Fast forward past a couple of scratches from dragging her off the receiver and I got this Aircom. Problem solved in that it funnels the warm air out the front of the box. It also allowed me to move the turntable back onto the stack, on top of the fan. I suppose a ... Of late the cat took to climbing on my receiver to bask in the warm air rising from my receiver. I've set up the fans so that they are quiet and efficient. They will quickly start sucking up volumes of hot air if the receiver's temperature rises too much, but the quotidian temperature is regulated nicely with minimum fuss and virtually no noise. It was an excellent choice, and much cheaper than the aforementioned closet.

The perfect way to cool your A/V equipment!
What an impressive product! Beautifully built, fits perfectly over my Denon AVR and now my AVR is nice and cool instead of hot as hell!! I love all the programmable options. It automatically turns on and off according to your settings. Highly recommended to keep your A/V devices cool so they will last longer! I added some 1/4" x 14" weather stripping foam around the perimeter of the bottom of the T10 so 100% of the air is sucked thru the side vents of my AVR, up thru the top vents and out of the T10...and it works perfectly : - )What an impressive product! Relatively cheap device to keep your electronics cool.
Very quiet machine. It has been able to keep my Denon avr-x3800h under 78 degrees on smart mode even after a day of watching movies and the evening cranking out the music through 9 channels. I have also set the alarm to notify me if the unit begins to get too hot. Without it, I wouldn't know about the heat problem until the unit shuts down in protection mode.
