Great Product BUT ...
I have it installed in my VW Tiguan and it works great. It is sturdy. One can see through it easily when driving. Now that it is installed, taking it down should be no problem when I need to do that, it slides forward when the seats slide forward, and it folds down if the seats need folding down (but you cannot do the latter with just one side if folding down the 60 or the 40 of its 60/40 configuration). The only BUT I would give it is with the instructions. I think they are horrible -- not totally useless, but still horrible. It is one sheet of looseleaf paper, printed on only one side. The company's Website offers nothing additional. Someone independently put up a YouTube video. It was a fixed camera and the fellow installing it did not speak. His hands often obscured the ... Nevertheless, I am very methodical when it comes to following instructions. There was a fair amount of trial and error, flipping and flopping, and making adjustments. Luckily, there was a certain degree of logic to it, so when I did figure out what was necessary, I was confident to move on. If one knew what they were doing, it would only take several minutes which is why I spent so much time complaining about the instructions. Having said that, I decided to not knick the rating down from five stars. I'm glad it doesn't mark up the roof or sides of my Tiguan, and doesn't forfeit room for my Dalmatian by extending straight down to the floor of the cargo area. It is very good quality making it a good value.

strange, but good
Weirdly overbuilt for the purpose. The basic design is sound, and it works very well. Price is right. Not too hard to install if you're reasonably handy. The combination of welded hexagonal steel bits and plastic parts seems a bit incongruous, but it's Italian, so maybe that explains things?
