I find this combination formula remarkably gentle. After doing a 2-minute test the 1st time, I proceeded to 5 minutes. There was a sensation of pins and needles but it was quite tolerable. It fizzes when neutralized. For full disclosure, I have previously tried the 25% Glycolic and it was more intense in my opinion. I am hoping this gentler formula achieves a similar result. My dark spots were beginning to resurface and I needed a "tune up." I am looking forward to clear smooth cheeks again.
