This is a beautiful watch! Very classy black dial with indices highlighted with a polished metal look on the edges. The sub-dials have a finely grooved pattern to offset them from the watch face and even more attractive is the polished metal accent on the edges of each. A porcupine quill second hand, reflective blue with a white tip, looks great; the 24 hour sub-dial also has a reflective blue hand which distinguishes it nicely. The day sub-dial changes with each day and the date sub-dial indicates the date of the month. There are 24 hour markers on the chapter ring and the hour markers, hour and minute hand are luminescent. The case has a brushed quasi-art deco style to it, unlike any other watch out there, with a polished bezel. The domed crystal is durable and clear, makes ... This is a beautiful watch! Classy and expensive looking
This Casio Edifice timepiece looks much more expensive than it actually is. I read several on-line reviews and the only consistent complaint was that after some time the band broke where you bend it to latch it. People also commented on the unavailability of any band other than another Casio band, which are expensive relative to the cost of the watch. I decided to purchase a deployment latch for the band so that I would not be bending to buckle the watch repeatedly. So far everything is working fine and I have received several comments from people saying how the watch looks expensive. I wear it to work everyday and also ride a motorcycle which generates quite a bit of vibration. So far absolutely no problems, I am very happy with the watch and hope that my deployment latch will solve the ... This Casio Edifice timepiece looks much more expensive than it actually is. Great watch!
I have owned 3 of these over the years and they are stylish and well made timepieces - very affordable! The only drawback is the durability of the band. They usually split and break apart after about 2 years of day-to-day use.

Tough and Stylish
I've owned this watch for over 7 years and still wear it almost daily at work where it takes plenty of abuse. I drive equipment, build fixtures, fix everything, etc. It's tough, looks great, and has an ergonomically formed case. The best thing is that it stays on my wrist unlike metal link bands which always start to pop open over time. 7 years on, and I've only changed the battery once - about 3 years ago. The crystal is getting scratched and the band is starting to split, so I just bought an identical replacement.
