The headphones to get for under $100.
I have been looking for a good, quality set of headphones for a while. I took a chance on these based on all the glowing reviews online and I am in agreement. These are the best, well made, headphones you can get for $60 or anywhere near this price point. I am very happy with the sound quality as they sound clear and have enough bass without being obnoxious. They are also louder than my last headphones at the same volume. There are other reviews that can speak to all the details far better than I could so I suggest that you look them up, as they were very helpful. I so rarely complain OR praise a product lately, so I wanted to make a point to add my voice to the list of customers that are very satisfied with their purchase.I have been looking for a good, quality set of headphones for a while. but i bought the product used and the jack is extremely sensitive and sometimes has to be placed in the correct angle to work. but other than that the product is awesome.

Great headphones for mods
I was recommended the JVC HA-RX900's by an Audiophile forum. They are often praised for the sound quality as the best for the price range once modded. They absolutely sound phenomenal, as good if not better then higher priced solutions like Alessandro M1, or some lower end Beyerdynamics. 1. Buy HA-RX900 2. Buy modding material. 3. Play Music. 4. ??? 5. Profit. Comfort: They are not as comfortable as some Sennheisers, or Denons that I have tried however they are still comfortable, and are pressure adjustable. They are a bit on the heavy side, so there's a warning to people with weak necks or small heads. Sound Quality (after modding): On par with several $100~ In-Ear Monitors, and superior to various $100-$120 full-sized headphones. They have decent sound staging (not as good as the bass ... I would not recommend these headphones unless you are modifying them, they do not sound that good without mods. Very nice highs, lows, and bass. Mids are average to good. Overall great sounding headphones. Build Quality: Second to none for the price range. Build quality is very good. Thick durable ABS thermoplastic, and aluminum casing. Only downside (it is a plus but costs extra $, thus downside) to these headphones is that they require a decent dedicated sound card or amplifier/DAC (expensive) to get the best bang for the buck. Using these headphones with Integrated Audio "chips" like the typical Azalia (HD Audio) or Realtek AC'97 (older) found in most desktops and laptops reels in some issues with sound quality because they won't be able to drive the HA-RX900 64ohm headphones. Of course they will still sound better then most other sub $130 headphones but seriously, it's worth spending a little bit of money on a dedicated sound card.

Attractive, durable construction. Extremely comfortable. sound great - on a par with AudioTechnica ATH-M50 and AKG K-240 I also own. Balanced tonality throughout the audio spectrum - punchy and clear bass, very clear and sizzling highs without excessive sibilance - and crunchy midrange - very clear and balanced overall. And plenty loud - nothing wimpy with these cans. Overall a really good value for the money performance worth twice the price. Just MY take - JHR -Attractive, durable construction. Extremely comfortable. sound great - on a par with AudioTechnica ATH-M50 and AKG K-240 I also own. A bit better than the AVC-400s.
These headphones I got after getting some Audio Technica ATH-AVC400 headphones. These headphones are slightly better than the 400s. There are perforations on the sides of each headphones. These headphones leak a little sound at very high levels but not as much as semi-open or open back headphones. Very satisifed with the sound quality.
