    I love it but....

Overall installation Would be nice if directions for start up were written with total novices in mind. Maybe not only Netgear but all technical product producers should have instructions written not by engineers but other everyday people. If a retailer sees a need for geek like people available for product installation perhaps manufacturers are selling to the wrong market and should work toward plug and play. Overall product is exactly what I wanted and is doing exactly what I wanted, but getting there can be a frustrating journey.

  • Good value for the price

I was skeptical but it does extend the range. Previously my smart TV could not hold onto the signal more than a few minutes, and now it happens much less frequently. I'm still trying different locations for the device to find the optimal spot, but its clearly an improvement for a few dollars and a simple setup.

  • Inexpensive range extender that works!

I live in a 2 story home. My WiFi router is in my office on the first floor and 5Ghz signal can never get upstairs while 2.4Ghz signal is a bit weak. This range extender will allow me to access 5Ghz upstairs and I am quite happy with the performance. Bought this unit used for $15 and it fixes my issue without the need to buy a new router.

  • Better wifi at the back of the house

By necessity, my wifi router is all the way at one end of my house and some of my wireless devices at the other end, where the bedrooms are, don't pick up a good signal. So with this range extender, which I picked up for a little more than the cost of a fast food meal, my devices in the bedrooms can now get a stronger signal from the hallway. Because this was a second hand device, I had to start with a factory reset to clear out the previous owner's network settings. Once I got past that, the setup wizard took about five minutes to configure my extender. Right now, the extender has a great connection to my iPad in the bedroom but not so great to the wifi router in the living room. We'll see how it goes.

  • Easy to Use and a Good Value

The extender was easy to set up and install and operated as advertised. I have not used the item for very long but it seems to be doing everything it's supposed to and helped improve my signal at the far end of the house.
