I recently received the USB Version of Garmin TA10 & TA20. This cable worked flawlessly when I connected my Garmin DriveSmart 61 via USB!
How this helps me - I occasionally drive vehicles with no power port, therefore no way to connect my Garmin GPS. While I can use my iPhone via CarPlay to access Google Maps or Waze, almost without fail I get a call which disrupts the GPS guidance - often at inopportune times.
Now that nuisance is eliminated and I can have consistant stand alone GPS service.

Heavy-duty USB cable works like a charm. It enables me to charge the battery via a PC instead of a car cigarette lighter. What a breakthrough! I can now purge a gazillion unneeded locations from my 2015-vintage Garmin 2699 without it conking out. Thanks to Mr. Khalid, his wonderful instructional videos, and his kind email replies, I at last have a better handle on this not-so-intuitive device.
