    Perfect bullets First pour!

    The key to a perfect bullet, on the first pour, is to Follow the directions! Clean,,Clean,,then clean the mold. Smoke it with a few WOODEN matches, then "I" use Graphite to lube the sprue plate, and heat the mold in the cast, (lower temps cast better bullets). As long as you follow directions for ALUMINUM MOLDS you should get a perfect, or near so, the First time! If you are new to "Boolit" casting, or an Old slug like me, the Lee Molds cannot be beat, for quality vs price, and I have Never seen one "Wear out" if given any care at all. My Only complaint, is their fairly "limited" bullet selections. (Just my opinion, there are many gaps in styles vs/sizes.) If you want harder bullets you can "Water Drop" them. BUTNever get water in your casting pot, it Will ERUPT VIOLENTLY showering ...

    Lee Double Cavity Bullet Mold.

    After cleaning the lee mold it cast very good bullets right from the start I cast up approximately 200 bullets. They released from the mold freely with no problems, very easy to cast with. Everything was OK till I weighted out the bullets, One cavity weighted more than the other, not a lot about 2 grs but more than I like. Not a big deal .

    Good mold. The new style blocks are a great improvement.

    I am a hobbyist, and wanted a new mold to experiment with, for a 1-14 twist rifle barrel. Since Lee redesigned their mold blocks, the alignment of the 2 halves on the new molds, such as this, are very good, compared to the old ones. I used to shun Lee molds, but since the new design, I am sold.

    Cal .308 Flat Nose 150 gr Bullet Mold

    The mold is much better than the old style Lee Molds. The alignment pins are better. The design will allow rounds to be loaded in a tube magazine and not damage the primer of the round on top.

    Made of aluminum. Will not rust. Cast bullets from this mold actually fit my M 1 A. Only cast bullets from this particular mold will chamber in M1A

    Produces lead bullets that actually chamber and fit in my 762X51 caliber M1A rifle.
