But there are no instructions SO LEARN HOW TO PROGRAM THE DANDELION CHIP BEFORE YOU USE ON YOUR CAMERA!
- which is easy:
1. Search web for “how to program Dandelion chip for canon lens adapter”;
2. Practice at home to do correctly (cos the instructions are a bit cryptic - btw: max. lens aperture is the smallest F# on your lens ;-)
If your lenses have different max aperture, consider getting multiple adapters?

Works with the Canon 40d, for example, with the Helios 37a lens. When focusing manually, the focus point flashes. A bit shaky with this heavy lens. Exposure compensation had to be used when taking pictures - 1..-2EV and sometimes more, maybe it can be fixed by programming the chip - I haven't tried it, the explanations remain confusing.

So the adapter in question has a peculiar issue: the aperture control. Of my four Minolta lenses, only one fit relatively well- the rest are a struggle to mount and jam apertures fully open. I brought this concern up with the seller only to receive advice that isn't physically possible on this item (move the adapter lens??) ...And then have been ignored since, even with my return request. Do not buy this. Or if you do want to risk it, look elsewhere.
