Winger - Pull (Overlooked Solid Effort from the 80's)
Solid, often overlooked outing by the Winger boys! Great sound, great musicianship, and solid songwriting. While not as initially catchy as their previous work, this effort was basically washed away, along with most rock bands of the time, as grunge hit the music scene. Bands like Pearl Jam and Soundgarden overtook many a good band, at the time.

excellent CD.. as good or better than 'in the heart of the young'and Winger I, with a little harder metal edge especially on "junkyard dog"[tears on stone].. Metalica-ish but much better.."spell I'm under" could be right off Pink Floyd's "dark side of the moon' if you ignore lyrics..entire disc great mix of acoustic with hard rock,great change ups,and Reb Beach's always superb lead..Winger quite possibly the most underrated band in the world..the belittling by Butthead and Beavis on the "B&B Winger episode" really hurt them.. unfair andf totally unjustified..Kip musta pissed somebody off?..well..back to my Lars Ulrich dartboard..excellent CD.. as good or better than 'in the heart of the young'and Winger I, with a little harder metal edge especially on "junkyard dog"[tears on stone].. Fantastic band with Kip Winger and Reb Beach, this album is more "progressive", Winger is reform since 2005 with 2 studio albums and one live in DVD. Albums : - Winger (Sahara) - In the heart of the young - Pull - IV - Live (DVD) - Karma I've discover this band in 1991 on Guest of Scorpions European Tour, and I've see them this years (2009) 18 years after for the second time in a very little place (Batofar in Paris), they were incredible and always on top !Fantastic band with Kip Winger and Reb Beach, this album is more "progressive", Winger is reform since 2005 with 2 studio albums and one live in DVD. 80's rock lives and thrives
This is a great rock album. The recording is very good quality; very crisp, clean, and strong. I'm pretty picky about my music, I respect serious rockers, and these guys fit that bill. This is one I play when I wanna rock. I actually wore it out and bought it again on e-bay. Definite must for my collection.
