Super pleased with this saw. I tested it out by cutting through a plastic bottle. It cut right through it easily. I haven't been able to test it on tree branches but I'm confident it will work just fine. The paracord "handles" are sufficient and keep the unit compact. (A small dowel or branch could be slipped through the paracord for better grip on tough jobs). I would definitely recommend this saw.
