Used to connect presently owned DC power supply to CD player. Company proprietary power DC supply jack in my player is an odd design which requires you to buy a ~ $17 psu only from them. These jacks & plugs installed easy with a drill & some solder. In regards to matching voltage and equal or slightly higher amperage rating on psu, I defer to Tom's Hardware & other knowledgable people online for their recommendations. There's plenty of info available online about connecting DC power supplies.

Components are fairly cheap and the male plug seems to be too long for the receptacle. Also not a particularly tight fit. Some photos don't match and there seems to be two kinds represented. That was a bit confusing. I did return the items and the seller was very quick with my refund, though the cost for the label was deducted from the refund amount, which is fairly standard practice.
