    Great Addition to our library

    The book was very informative. It consisted of many interesting facts that I did not realize existed about geology and rocks.It has also been a great help to our daughter with her studies of rocks and there development in her school work. It is very easy to understand and interpret the explanations for all ages. It is very educational for those who also want to get invovled in the study of geology. I very much enjoy how it gets to the point and is a joy to just read and get more informed. I decided to purchase this book, because we recently visited some states that have mines where the public can dig and we found some rocks that we wanted to know more about. To be perfectly honest there really was not anything I disliked about the book. I found it to be a very ggod book.I was very pleased, ...

    A must-have for any geologist!

    This dictionary has many of the geological terms that you'll encounter throughout your studies as a geologist, and is an excellent reference book. It makes it very easy to quickly look up definitions.

    I bought the book for class. Two days before class was to start, the class was canceled. Hopefully I will be able to use this dictionary for the summer class if the class is offered.
