"Unless the Lord keeps the house, the watchman watches in vain!" A quote from God! The watchman still watches though! This provides a good degree of safety and protection and not falsely, while out and about like taking walks with your wife in this wicked world. It does not give a false sense of security, as I'm sure, with the help of God, it is a formidable weapon, very well concealed lawfully in the open and ready at all times. I would depend on God first and then upon this tried and true Irish walking stick with all my human responsibility to do so if needed. Like David and his sling, it is older me with my walking stick. The plus is my wife has one too! God and one is awesome but God and two, forget it. We will walk in safety with our God and our canes at our sides through the valley ... Indestructible. Ball on the top is too big.
Virtually indestructible. Good heft. However, the ball on the end is way too big. And there's no real comfortable place to grip it as a walking stick. A little more attention could have been given to making the faux wood finish a little more realistic. It could also use a rubber tip if it's to fool anyone into thinking it's actually a walking stick instead of a medieval mace.

Great waliking stick
This is a great walking stick, both in utility and looks. I am a big guy so I appreciate a stick that I trust to support me if the need arises. It is a beautiful design and if I would offer any suggestion at all on how to improve it I would ask for maybe a rubber cap for the grip as it is a wee bit uncomfortable when bearing one's weight on it. This is a minor thing however, and I highly recommend it.This is a great walking stick, both in utility and looks. The worlds' best cane just got better.
This is actually better than the Cold Steel Blackthorn cane was. It's a little lighter and quicker, and the angle on the head is better, with less stress on my hand when using it as a cane. It's every bit as indestructible. I plan on buying a 2nd one just to keep in the car.
