  • Hudson's Hypochondria Leads to Hilarity

Send Me No Flowers (1964) is the third of the three Rock Hudson-Doris Day romantic comedies. This is a very funny movie about a hypochondriac (Hudson) who mistakes a terminal patient's diagnosis for his own and is convinced he really will be dead soon. It's a hilarious story which only gets funnier when Doris discovers the truth about the diagnosis mix-up. There are great performances from Day, Hudson, and the inimitable Randall. If you like Send Me No Flowers, also check out the Hudson-Day comedies Pillow Talk (1959) and Lover Come Back (1961) and Come September (1961), starring Hudson, ...
