One of the great, serial dramas of the age.

Great, classic TV. Revisiting the early 1960s with a lot of familiar faces popping up. One of the best serial dramas of the age. The fugitive is everywhere but nowhere and the cop that is after him is always a little late on the scene and the fugitive sneaks away into the sunset. Great fun.

  • Great Series From the 1960's!

The Fugitive was a great series from the 1960's. The story of Dr. Richard Kimble (played by David Janssen) who was on the lam after being convicted of murdering his wife. The movie with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones from 1993 was excellent - but it wasn't the same. I was very young when the series originally aired from 1963-1967 and do not really remember it from its original run on TV. I remember seeing it in syndication in the mid-1970's; that is when I really started enjoying it. Then, around 1990, A&E began airing it daily. That was when I really became a fan as I had taped a number of them. The first season was my favorite. It just ticked me off when it came out on DVD and they split the seasons into two volumes each. There are some wonderful episodes in ...

  • It don't get any better than this, thank's to modern DVD's

It's really Great seeing these old episodes again, just like I did when I was a kid. Too bad David Jassen passed away at a young age. He was a good actor & played the part of Dr. Richard Kimball very well. It's also interesting to note all of the then unknown actors & actresses that were in these episodes, along with David Jassen, some of which got no 'billing' in the credits at all, that went on to have great careers in both television & Movies. Also, it's uncanning how many of the actors & actresses that are in these eposides, were also in the 'Twilight Zone' eposides. Even some of the background music in these eposides was also in the 'Twilight Zone' Episodes. If you watch these you will see what I'm talking about. I have ...

  • The fugitive - Season One, Volume Two

I welcome Volume Two, after seeing the first volume! A great show with great scripts! Great Actors! Barry Morse is great as Lt. Gerard, even though you hope he doesn't get his man! They don't make shows this good any more! I am looking forward to the next 3 Seasons of heart pounding, excitement! I know that the Fugitive will escape in each show, but it is exciting to find out how he does it! I hope that Season 4, the last volume, is released soon and not in a couple of years! We baby boomers are getting old waiting for our favorite TV shows to be released on DVD!

  • Outstanding

This is a DVD set that is part of one of the greatest Television shows of all time.It has some classic episodes such as "Search in a Windy City" and" Angels travel on lonley roads". David Jannsen is wonderful as Dr. Richard Kimble as is Barry Morse as Lt. Girard. This collection is a Gem ...this whole Fugitive series is unequaled for television drama.
