  • Not the best device I've owned.

I would not buy another of these players. The radio sounds good but the song files have alot of backgroud noise that was not on the mp3 player I transfered them from though it could be from the earphone jack. They do not fit flush into it. The camera has very poor quality with a green haze to it. It likes to calibrate itself over and over again. I also don't like the fact that it only plays e-books and not audio books. The size and features were great for the price, until I got it and used it. It was for a Christmas gift that I decided to keep so it wasn't used until after the return time had expried, so now I am stuck with it. I use it but am not happy with it. I use my Sansa Fuze more often than I do this, it is a much better product that shows great pics and has wonderful sound and also ...

  • The MP3 player that isn't.

When I opened the box, I was impressed with the initial appearance; very nice for the money. Then the disappointment came when the "user manual" tells you how to turn it on..... Yes, that's about it!!!! You, the consumer are supposed to know every function and how to execute it. The user manual should be called the "Useless manual". Don't even try to speak to a live person when you look Visual Land's phone number up, because they won't let you talk to someone. Fill out their "tech support" form on-line and email it to them, they tell you. I did and have not heard back yet in more than a week now. The way it arranges your music is strange, there are files in the "music" section for "artist", "album" and "genre", but I wish you good luck in getting your music into them for filing. Forget ...

  • Ok Mp3 player for the price.

I bought a few of these to take abroad to family. You can't sync the unit with a media player on your PC. You have to copy music files to an audio file then create your own favorite list in the player. If you sync, it moves them to a logical music file that you can't play. It does play the songs in the audio file but it can be a large list to go through and the audio sounds good as well. No, it's not an ipod or Zen or anything close to flexible functions you find on better Mp3 players. It just has a larger screen compared to others.

  • Stay Away From this Digital Media Player

This digital media player is the biggest piece of junk I have ever used. The documentation is completely useless and covers none of the features, etc. of the player. The method by which the device attempts to organize audio files by Artist, Album, Genre, etc. does NOT work correctly. Some artists are missing from the list, songs are out of order, albums are missing, etc. The weird part is that the results will change depending on what I load on the player first, second, etc. I have even gone through and checked Artist, Album, etc. settings for each .mp3 file itself to ensure all is in order before loading it on the player yet I still get unpredictable results. I would not waste time with this player if it were free of charge; Visual Land should be embarrased at the fact that they ...

  • kinda iffy

its a good piece of equipment other than a few features such as, the instruction manual tells you no information on how to work it (you just have to figure it out for yourself), and when i loaded music on the player most of the artists didn't get labeled as the "artist" they were just thrown into the "other" category and songs were randomly put in order in that other category, I checked my computer to make sure the file names were labeled correctly and they were, so something in the player must not be processing that information correctly. Other than that the other features seemed ok, but not much sense to not be able to pick which artist you listen to. I would not recommed this product unless i'm just doing something wrong, but i just don't know what else to try.
