    Home is Where the Heart Is by Thomas Kinkade

    This is a beautifully written and illustrated book, for which I had a very special purpose in mind. It is tribute to a life of beauty, simplicity, and the love of home and family. I purchased it as a first Father's Day gift to my oldest son, who is the father of my first grandchild, now one year old. And....I added a little creativity and personalization to it! Using carefully selected photos of himself, his home, and his family, I created mini collages on some of the pages, interspersing these photos with Mr. Kinkade's beautiful artwork. I added my own comments, highlighting, and my personal message on the inside cover, to make this book uniquely his own. Being able to buy it on eBay enabled me to spend virtually no time on shopping, and more time personalizing it!

    My Heart IS in My Home--Kinkade says it well!

    This is one of my Favorite Kinkade books because of the quotes used. Each word snuggles right up to my heart and draws me into the picture he has painted. I love his artistic work but I love more the thoughtfulness put into the words which face the pictures. The colors are lovely but the word pictures are precisely what I wanted in filling my heart with gratefulness at God's Creation depicted in the pictures. Thank You, Harvest House Publishers.
