Sound quality
While subs look good installed in a factory truck box on a Boss 1000 watt amp if you turn the column over 1/8th of the way distortion is all you get. The pioneer 6x9s put out better bass and thump. Good for looks and junk for sound.

Gets the job done and looks good doing it
For the application at hand (sound system for bike) it works great for me. The dual voice coil setup was a step up from the previous subwoofer. Though I'm a little bothered by how they seated the gasket (The cardboard or foam sealing edge around the speaker). Other than that, it gets the job done and it looks cool! That being said; I wouldn't recommend blasting the thing at its stated ratings for too long as with most cheaper subwoofers.For the application at hand (sound system for bike) it works great for me. Sound was good but VC burnt out in 3 months
Sound wise it this sub impressed me. It was in a small underseat truck box but hit good and was clean. My only issue was it only lasted about 3 months before it cooked the voice coils. I may have just got a dud, they are going to replace it under warranty so hopefully I get a little longer out of the replacement.
