Benchmade 555 mini grip S30V
Great EDC, outstanding craftsmanship, great edge on the S30V blade. Axis lock is awesome. Easy to flip open and snap shut right out of the box. Feels very sturdy with full liners and nice texture on scales. This mini has the spydee hole which I think is better than thumb studs

Mini-grip great for whittling
I use this knife for whittling wood when I am away on trips. It carries easily in any clothing, the steel holds up very well, the form factor is compact for close-in detail work, and the sheepsfoot blade is great for carving away material.

Awesome knife
Quality knife. I’d recommend the full size version if bulk is not an issue, but the mini is perfect for edc purposes. The knife was bone dry out of the box, making the lock release a bit stiff. Nothing a little oil can’t fix.

Quintessential EDC knife at a great price
I’ve owned a handful of Benchmade mini griptilians throughout the years, and I always end up getting another. These knives outperform the more expensive blades of similar size. You can’t kill these knives! They are also customizable. Throw some micarta scales on it with a deep carry titanium clip, and now you’ve got a show piece!
